We remember and honor the life of Mr. Dylan Shea McGregor, who passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at the ranch south of Tompkins where he grew up.

Family & Legacy
Survived by: Wife Stacy; children Gavin Glenn McGregor and Abigale Manda McGregor; parents Ryan and Cindy McGregor; sister Brittany (Tyson) Migneault and their children Isabel, Cullen, and Everden; grandmother Gwen McGregor; uncle Garth McGregor and family; aunt Regan (Jayson) Austin and family; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Predeceased by: Grandfather Glenn McGregor; aunt Roxy McGregor‑Robinson; grandparents Leonard and Isabel Stewart.
Community ties: Dylan grew up on the McGregor ranch near Tompkins, attended Tompkins School and Gull Lake High School, graduating in 2000. He studied electronic and computer science in Lethbridge, AB, and worked in Medicine Hat for BJ Energy and Telus before returning to Tompkins. He worked in the oil and gas industry at Steel Reef until his cancer diagnosis in 2024.
Personal legacy: Dylan married Stacy on July 1, 2011, and together they raised their children in Tompkins. He was deeply involved in their activities, proud to watch them grow and discover their passions. His favorite pastimes included ranching, reading, music, camping, gaming, building computers, and working on his truck. He loved the outdoors, especially time spent in the McGregor coulee. Dylan volunteered with the Tompkins Skating Rink, Lions Club, and the volunteer fire department, leaving a lasting mark on his community.
