Fundraising Health Committee Forming for X‑Ray Upgrade

Local municipalities are taking the next step in the discussion around upgrading the X‑ray unit at the Gull Lake Health Centre.
This announcement follows the April 21 community meeting, where residents heard an overview of the proposed shift from the current film‑based X‑ray system to a modern digital unit. As outlined in our April 28 post, digital imaging would mean faster results and clearer scans. It would also reduce the number of trips out of town for routine diagnostics—especially for seniors, chronic-care patients, and those dealing with minor injuries or workplace-related incidents.
To support the project, the Town of Gull Lake, R.M. of Carmichael, R.M. of Webb, and R.M. of Gull Lake are working together to form a Fundraising Health Committee. The committee will help coordinate local fundraising efforts connected to the proposed upgrade.
Residents interested in serving on the committee are invited to contact Emella at the Town Office at 306‑672‑3361.
The committee will focus on coordinating local fundraising efforts related to the proposed upgrade.
More updates will be shared as they become available.
