The Gull Lake Town Council recently met and authorized various grants for the 2024 Sport, Culture, and Recreation programs. These funds, suggested by the Recreation Advisory Committee, are intended to support diverse local organizations and programs that benefit the community's well-being and development.
Grant Approval:
Gull Lake Student Council $1,500.00
This award will assist the student council's programs and activities, for students.
Gull Lake Curling Rink $2,000.00
The curling rink is a popular destination for local sports fans. This funds will go towards curling activities and programs.
Gull Lake Skating Club $2,500.00.
The skating club provides programs for skaters of all ages and abilities. The award will help to provide quality coaching.
Autumn House Independent Living Facility ($1,500.00)
Autumn House is a personal care home that provides a variety of programs and activities for its residents.
RAC Programming $2,322.00.
The Recreation Advisory Committee (RAC) will use the grant to support a variety of community recreational programs and activities.
By providing funding to community groups that advocate for Gull Lake's sports, arts, and recreation programs, the council is showing its dedication to improving the town's quality of life.
