Gull Lake Heritage Walking Tour Now on Tripvia

With the help of former Gull Lake Resident Craig Baird who provided historical information, the Gull Lake Tourism Committee created a self guided walking tour in 2014. At each point of interest, the committee placed information signs. Last fall with the help of Craig Baird, the Town of Gull Lake and the Cypress Hills Destination Area, the walking tour was placed on the TrippVia App.

The walking tour is one of 17 tours currently listed on the app for Saskatchewan. The outing is a 1km loop with 12 historic locations for tourists to stop and learn about. At each stop along the path people can stop and play an audio description of the historical information of the point of interest. The walking tour takes approximately one-hour 13min to complete.

This tour is just one of many things, there is to do in Gull Lake for tourists or residents. Whether you are driving by or staying in Gull Lake at the Campground or one of the Towns other accommodations be sure to check out, all our community has to offer.
