Life & Legacy

Glenn was born in Gull Lake to Augusta and Randy Holding on January 4, 1948. He trained as an agricultural mechanic at SAIT and farmed in the Tompkins area for many years. He contributed to community projects including the Tompkins Lions Club, the Tompkins Community Hall, and later volunteer work at Lac Pelletier.

Family

Glenn is survived by his wife Barbara, children Carmen, Trevor (Becky), and Jeffrey, grandchildren Alice, Adeline, Aidric, and Anneliese, and brothers Rick (Brenda) and Dean Holding. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Mary Lee, and brother Bill.

Service Details

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Swift Current InnovationPlex Auditorium, 2001 Chaplin Street East. The eulogy and toast begin at 2:30 p.m.   Northwest entrance recommended for stair‑free access.
