Clairbank 4 H Club Annual Report for 2020/21

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

ree

We had our first General Meeting was held in October 2021. We elected executives and went over the rules of being in 4H. This past year in 4H had we had some fun and some challenges due to Covid. We had 11 members in Light Horse, Beef, Wood Work and Poultry. We had some new members this past year and some returning from the previous year. We were fortunate to receive a grant from Crescent Point.

Due to Covid this past year we were unable to attend any craft fairs or get together as a group to work on projects, but we were able to decorate at Christmas Cove and we collected for the local food bank. We also planted flowers in Gull Lake. With Covid restrictions most all of our meetings were virtual and we did our speeches by video. Once restrictions lifted a bit we were able to get together to watch the speeches at the hall in Gull Lake on the screen. We also were able to have an in person meeting. All Covid protocols with spacing, masking and sanitizing were in place. Once the restrictions lifted more we were able to have an Achievement Day and attend Frontier Days again.

We are hoping this Year in the 4H Club we will be able to participate in all projects/activities. We would like to invite anyone interested in 4H to get in touch with our General Leader Mel Leppa at 306.774.9020. We are always looking for new members.
