The Gull Lake Motel has a new owner and name. Andrew Tan, the motel's new owner, took over operations at the end of August and is already making changes. The motel's name has been changed to Gull Lake Lodge Motel , and rooms are being renovated. Signs for the business are also being made and will be installed in the near future. The " Hitching Post Restaurant " is the new name for the Gull Lake Esso Restaurant on the #1 Highway at Gull Lake. For those who like to get a head start in the morning, the restaurant will be open for breakfast from 6 in the morning. Stop by for lunch or dinner, or indulge in a cup of coffee and a slice of homemade pie, if you are in search of an appetizing home-cooked meal. The Go-Fer Hole is now under new management! Local entrepreneurs Dina Marie Lychak and her son Dawson formally took over today. The menu now includes breakfast, and the business hours have changed. Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. A new menu is currently being developed; for the time being, the menu remains unchanged.
