Meet Gull Lake Museum/Visitor Centre Tourism Ambassador Alexa Atem.
This year, the Gull Lake Tourism Committee employed two summer students. They will be our Tourism Ambassadors, greeting visitors and promoting Gull Lake and Area Attractions and Businesses at the museum/Visitor Centre. We are pleased to present Alexa Atem, our first Tourism Ambassador. Alexa Atem Hi all! My name is Alexa Atem, and I am one of the Summer Tourism Ambassadors for 2023! Gull Lake Museum to Open Visitor Information Centre and Gift Shop
The Gull Lake Tourism Committee is aiming to broaden the Museum's function in order to attract more visitors and promote tourism and businesses in Gull Lake and the surrounding area. A visitor information centre and gift shop will be located in the main building. The Museum/Visitor Information Centre will be open seven days a week and will feature a variety of tourist information pamphlets, including one focusing on attractions and businesses in Gull Lake and the surrounding

Gull Lake School's Classes of 1969 and 1970 Donate to SWT Lyceum Theatre Renovation
(L) Norm White (R) Cole Girodat Gull Lake School's Classes of 1969 and 1970 generously donated $200 to the SWT Lyceum Theatre for the theatre renovation project. This cheque is presented by Norm White, who volunteers at the theatre with his wife Jean every Saturday night! If you would like to contribute to our refurbishment project, please stop by the theatre or email LyceumTheatreSK@gmail.com. The project's renovation designs are on display in the theatre's lobby. Tompkins Chooses AWS for Garbage and Recycling Pickup

Tompkins School and Community Make Donation to SPCA
The Swift Current SPCA was grateful for a donation made by the Tompkins School and community. Tompkins School held a Christmas concert with a dog theme and asked for donations for the SPCA. In addition to that, they gave a contribution in the amount of $185! Source: Swift Current SPCA

Gull Lake Museum 2022 Report
Just a bit about the museum for 2022. We did some minor maintenance during summer such as spraying weed repairing screen tree cleanup adding birdhouses. The biggest project was hiring a contractor to redo the roof on the school (Rigpro from Maple Creek did a great job). We also upgraded the locks on the house and the school. The best news is how much the museum was used all summer! Fiona Cadence and Peggy hosted Monday afternoon tea and cake all summer, with 15 to 20 ladies

RCMP Lay Charges Connected to 2025 Gull Lake Break‑In
The RCMP have concluded a significant investigation involving several communities in southern Saskatchewan. A 42‑year‑old man from Tompkins is facing multiple charges after a series of incidents across the region.
