Fire Prevention Week takes place from October 8 to 14. This year's Fire Prevention Week theme is "Cooking safety begins with YOU." Unattended cooking is the most common cause of kitchen fires. While frying, boiling, grilling, or broiling food, it is critical to remain in the kitchen. Cooking safely begins with you.
