Upcoming Highway No. 37 Reconstruction: What to Expect in Gull Lake?
Highway No. 37 through Gull Lake is being reconstructed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways for 1.3 km, including new concrete curbs and gutters and an asphalt surface within the town limits. The project's boundaries extend from 0.2 km south of its intersection with Grey Street to 0.1 km north of 7th Street. Gull Lake Tourism Committee Seeks Members During Sask Tourism Week April 15-19
Saskatchewan Tourism Week will take place from April 15 to 19. The week coincides with Canada's official celebration of Tourism Week. We Need You!!!! Last year, the Gull Lake Tourism Committee opened the Gull Lake Visitor Centre and introduced the Prairie Handmade Gift Shop. We also began updating signage along the #1 Highway sign corridor and renovating the campground's restrooms. Municipal Revenue Sharing Grant Increased in Provincial Budget
The Provincial Government recently approved an increase for municipalities under its Municipal Revenue Sharing Program. According to the statistics supplied, the total funding available to municipalities this fiscal year will be $304,238,000. This is a 26% growth over the course of five years. This year, the Municipal Revenue Sharing Grant will provide the Town of Gull Lake with a total of $253,292 for this fiscal year. Over the course of the past five years, this represents

Power Outage Planned for Southwest Communities on Sunday
Sask Power plans another power outage for system maintenance on Sunday. Gull Lake, Charmichael, Simmie, Illerbrun, Stone, Eastend, Robsart, Consul, Govenlock, Loomis, Climax, Bracken, Masefield, Val Marie, Maple Creek, Piapot, Tompkins, Hatton, Cypress Hills, Nekaneet First Nation, Golden Prairie, and other rural areas will be affected The outage will start at 7 a.m. and last until 11 a.m. Updates on scheduled power outages can be obtained under " Outages Planned for Necessar

Sunday Power Outage Scheduled For SW Communities UPDATE
The Sunday, Sask Power scheduled a planed power outage for the communities of Gull Lake, Charmichael, Tompkins, Piapot, Maple Creek, Hatton, Cypress Hills, Nekaneet First Nation, Golden Prairie, and surrounding rural areas. The outage that was to start at 1pm and end at 4pm was updated and the outage will now start at 1pm and end at 3pm.
