Additional Details

• The Webb Community Hall will open at 1:30 p.m. as a meeting place and as a shelter if weather conditions are poor.

• A plaque dedication ceremony will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the CPR Steel Gang memorial, located 2 km west of Webb on the north side of the Trans‑Canada Highway. The ceremony is expected to run under 30 minutes.

• A community supper will be served at 6:00 p.m. in the Webb Community Hall, hosted by the Steel Gang Alumni and the Webb community.

• After supper, a five‑minute concept film for Steel Gang: The Ties that Bind will be shown, followed by an update from 47 Filmworks and a roundtable discussion on the Steel Gang’s legacy.

• Documentary filming will take place throughout the day.
