The Gull Lake Whitecap Winterfest Committee has issued its event program, and the day promises to be a day of fun for everyone. Whitecap Resources Inc will sponsor this year's event, which will take place on Saturday, February 4th.
Volunteers, clubs, and organizations have been organizing and preparing for the return of the annual winter event. There will be plenty of classic Winterfest indoor and outdoor events, as well as some new ones. Snowshoeing and skiing will be new outdoor events this year. The event will also feature new additions such as a specialized food and drink fair, as well as a cabaret with live music performed by Tyler Lewis.
Also returning is the Tradeshow, which will be held in the small hall. Danny Kazzam, the first children's entertainer to appear at Winterfest, will return with his show full of humour, astonishing magic, cuddly puppets, and positive messages. The annual Winterfest Pie Eating Contest is back, and everyone is eager to find out who will reign supreme this year. At 8:00 p.m., there will, without a doubt, be a fantastic fireworks show that everyone enjoys watching.
