Government of Saskatchewan Assists School Divisions with Fuel and Insurance Costs

The Saskatchewan government is providing school divisions $20 million for 2022-23 to cover increased fuel and insurance costs. The funding is one-time, and according to the information released, Chinook School Division will receive an additional $1,211,000.
In addition, the government has committed $7 million for the hiring of 200 new education assistants for the 2022-23 school year.
