This memorial plaque can be found on the #1 highway, five kilometres to the west of Webb. It is located near the site of an accident involving a car, bus, and tanker truck that resulted in the deaths of 22 members of the CPR's Prairie Region Steel Gang. 

The bus was engulfed in flames, leaving many of the victims' bodies unrecognisable. The terrible crash was one of the deadliest in Canadian history.
